Located in the heart of Central Massachusetts, the Sands of Time chapter was established to bring that international vision to our local hills and highways. While we share the colors and the mission of Widows Sons everywhere, our chapter carries a name of profound Masonic significance.
The Hourglass—the very essence of the "Sands of Time"—reminds us that our lives are transitory, and the moments we have to do good are fleeting. For us, this isn't just a symbol on a wall; it’s the rhythm of our rides.
Brotherly Love: Every mile we cover is a testament to the bond we share as Masons.
Relief: We ride with a purpose, raising funds for the widows and orphans of our fallen Brothers and supporting the local communities that line our routes.
Truth: We represent the Craft to the public, showing that a Mason is a Mason whether he is wearing an apron or a leather vest.
Since our founding, the Sands of Time has become a fixture in the Massachusetts Masonic landscape. From charity runs through the Berkshires to quiet gatherings in the lodge room, we remain "On the Level" and "In the Wind."
We recognize that while the sands in the glass may continue to run, the impact of a Widow’s Son is eternal. As we look to the future, we continue to invite every Master Mason with a passion for the road to join us in writing the next chapter of our history.
"Our time is short, but our brotherhood is long. Let every grain of sand represent a mile of service and a moment of fellowship."
